The most likely time for damage to occur to you CO2 cylinder is when they are being stored or transported. Prior to storage, simply screw on the G1/2-14, W21.8 and CGA320 Thread Protector Cap to ensure the CO2 valve or CO2 cylinder threads stay protected from damage. This also has a handy groove on the top of it that securely holds two spare gaskets for those unforeseen moments the cylinder gasket breaks at the CO2 machine.
